Setting up Dakara is more than just arranging the pieces. It’s about preparing for something meaningful — a chance to relive memories, create new experiences, and immerse yourself in the thrill of the game.

Step 1: Unbox the Game and Lay Out the Board

Unfold the board and place it in the center of your playing area. Make sure there’s enough space for everyone to gather around comfortably.

Step 2: Sort the Gold Cards and Boarding Passes

Separate the gold cards into their respective categories — cash, stocks, auctions, and lotteries. Shuffle each pile and place them face down in their designated spots.

Step 3: Distribute Starting Cash and Tokens

Give each player their starting cash and progress tokens. Place the marking tokens on the “Start” space.

Step 4: Set Up Local Games and Big Events

Place the local game cards and big event cards where they belong on the board. These are the spaces where the stakes are high — and where memories are made.
